Frontend Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the frontend product experience at Spacelift.

• Create a high-quality user interface for an infrastructure orchestration platform.

• Balance intricate technical requirements with performance, usability, and UI excellence.

• Work collaboratively with designers, backend engineers, and product teams in a cross-functional environment.

• Contribute to the functionality from the discovery phase through to delivery and release.

• Take ownership of problems and initiatives from start to finish, influencing key engineering decisions.

• Engage in Frontend Guild and Design System Guild meetings.

• Participate in UI Alignment Tuesdays.

• Utilize Stability Tuesdays to mitigate technical debt and enhance reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with JavaScript.

• More than 5 years of practical experience in building front-end applications using React.

• Strong focus on product mindset and user impact.

• High level of independence with the capability to manage problems from start to finish and make informed decisions.

• Proactive in identifying opportunities and taking initiative.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in English with effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Jest or Playwright is a plus.

• Experience with design systems and accessibility standards is advantageous.

• Interest in DevOps or infrastructure-related subjects is a bonus.
