This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and deploy market-ready features for the Storyblok application utilizing contemporary web technologies (such as TypeScript, Vue, Vite, etc.).
• Take full ownership of the Software Development Lifecycle, from evaluating product requirements to delivering reliable software to clients.
• Independently design, implement, and launch frontend features by creating modular and reusable components while making technical decisions with little guidance.
• Integrate automated testing into our development and maintenance processes.
• Continuously test, optimize, and enhance our application for security, performance, and reliability.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of our codebase and domain, actively sharing knowledge with team members and contributing to documentation.
• Assist in swiftly resolving bugs and addressing issues for our clients.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, product owners, designers, and other business stakeholders to comprehend business needs, assess trade-offs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers in a respectful, open, and empathetic manner.
• Serve as a collaborative team member, helping colleagues navigate challenges, remove obstacles, and successfully deliver projects.
• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a Front-end Engineer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript languages and their modern syntax and features, as well as familiarity with one frontend framework and eagerness to learn Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsiveness, and foundational knowledge of accessibility standards.
• In-depth knowledge of development best practices, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts (testability, regression, unit, integration, test automation) and testing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright.
• Thorough knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• General familiarity with git, Unix, and other modern development technologies.
• Capability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean TypeScript code.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess multiple solutions and make informed technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills that promote interaction with various stakeholders.
• You are confident, detail-oriented, and highly driven to contribute to the organization’s success as part of a high-performing team.
