Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Perform code reviews on pull requests from both your colleagues and our community, pinpointing and resolving technical challenges to uphold our high coding standards.

• Work closely with engineering, design, and product teams to enhance our web applications by implementing new features based on feedback from the community as well as product specifications and requirements.

• Consistently enhance the quality, maintainability, and scalability of our frontend codebase, while actively participating in the development of frontend architecture and technical decisions to foster long-term innovation and performance.

• Engage proactively with our community by investigating and addressing user-reported problems, and creating tasks that can be clearly outlined and easily taken up by community contributors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in TypeScript development.

• Proven experience in developing and optimizing progressive web applications (PWAs).

• Practical experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (such as Lit, React, Angular, Vue).

• Capable of working independently, with strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Extensive knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows (including pull requests, reviews, and merging).

• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Residing in Europe, with the eligibility to work in the region.
