Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create our front end utilizing Backstage, developed in TypeScript with React.

• Collaborate with various teams and UX designers.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements in both user experience and codebase.

• Ensure our web interface is highly esteemed within the Kubernetes community.

• Mentor colleagues on best engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational software engineering expertise.

• Experience with automation tools such as CI/CD pipelines.

• Extensive prior experience with most components of our technology stack.

• Knowledge of standards such as OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

• Basic experience in deploying applications within Kubernetes.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire web stack.

• Experience with agentic software engineering methodologies.

• Excellent communication, project management, and time management abilities.

• Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification is a plus.
