Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Develop innovative solutions that enhance the overall design, site navigation, and content layout for diverse geographic audiences.

• Code visually captivating and interactive user interfaces for our web-based and mobile applications.

• Create unit tests and maintain documentation for your code.

• Contribute to or enhance your SCRUM skills.

• Engage in additional activities as necessary! Simplicity is merely the essence of simplicity!

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant degree from a university or college.

• Over 5 years of experience with CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

• Proficiency in PHP, responsive design, AJAX, and CSS templating/modularity.

• Preferred experience includes CoffeeScript, Angular.js, Node/Npm, JSON/REST, SQL (MySQL), and Linux.

• UI/UX experience focused on web design and/or mobile applications.

• Understanding of web interaction design best practices with an emphasis on consistency and usability.

• Familiarity with the principles of personas, user experience, web navigation, user behavior, current design trends, and cross-browser/platform compatibility issues.

• Bonus points for experience with visual design tools such as Photoshop, GIMP, Inkscape, InDesign, Illustrator, or FontForge.
