This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and uphold the user interface for a sophisticated web-based video player component utilized across various products and the organization.
• Construct video player controls and user interface in React using elements from the Stencil JS component library.
• Contribute to the Stencil JS component library to fulfill video player specifications.
• Deliver React components and Web Components to ensure compatibility with different frameworks.
• Create a video wall module utilizing Angular for enterprise video surveillance applications.
• Apply responsive design techniques and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Assist with state management through Redux Toolkit.
• Enhance application performance and user experience.
• Implement video timeline controls and playback user interface.
• Develop PTZ camera control interfaces.
• Design snapshot and session management user interface components.
• Participate in testing strategies and initiatives aimed at maintaining code quality.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a software engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript.
• Over 2 years of experience in Single Page Application framework development.
• A year or more of experience with WebRTC, HLS, or WebCodecs.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and JavaScript with a thorough understanding of modern ES6+ features.
• Solid knowledge of React (version 19.2.0 or higher).
• Proficiency in Angular.
• Familiarity with Stencil JS or similar technologies.
• Experience with state management concepts using Redux Toolkit and React Redux.
• Familiarity with Emotion and styled-components.
• Knowledge of Vite and Nx monorepo build tools.
• Experience with Vitest and Testing Library.
• Understanding of responsive design and web accessibility principles.
• Capability to quickly learn new frameworks through AI-assisted development.
• Understanding and experience with Conventional Commit and Semantic Release practices.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
