Frontend Developer – React/Next.js – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve screens and workflows for web applications, converting product and design specifications into functional user interfaces.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces based on design prototypes.

• Create and advance reusable components that adhere to the design system, ensuring visual and behavioral uniformity across screens.

• Connect screens to backend services, effectively managing loading, error, empty, and permission states.

• Engage in story refinement with product and design teams, identifying feasibility issues, costs, and simpler UX alternatives prior to delivery commitments.

• Manage end-to-end tasks of low to medium complexity independently.

• Guarantee the quality of your outputs: validate workflows prior to implementing changes, prevent regressions, and ensure optimal user-perceived performance.

• Assist the senior developer with the squad's priorities, removing obstacles to tasks and minimizing the team's backlog.

• Track the performance of screens in production and assist in investigating user-reported issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (either in progress or completed) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficient in React and Next.js: professional experience in building and maintaining applications.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript (typing, componentization, code organization).

• Experience in building interfaces utilizing Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with a design system/component library: capacity to evolve and propose components, as well as integrate them while adhering to established patterns.

• Experience with scalable component architecture.

• Proficient in consuming REST APIs, managing response states, errors, and authentication.

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and best practices for responsive design.

• Knowledge of Git in a collaborative workflow (branches, pull requests, code review).
