Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Work closely with the development team to grasp the requirements and specifications for small features from the backlog.

• Support the design, development, and implementation of small features utilizing the designated technology stacks, including Jira, Sentry, Django, Ruby, PHP, and GitHub.

• Write clean, efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices while following the guidance of senior developers.

• Perform comprehensive unit testing and debugging of features to ensure functionality and maintain quality.

• Collaborate with team members during code reviews, integrating feedback and suggestions for enhancements.

• Aid in maintaining and documenting the existing codebase, ensuring both code integrity and readability.

• Participate in team meetings and scrum sessions to provide updates regarding the progress of feature development.

• Seek assistance from senior developers when encountering challenges or obstacles in feature implementation.

• Show a readiness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience with software development languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Flask, Django, VueJS, NextJS, Node, PostgreSQL, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Docker, WordPress, Ruby on Rails.

• Proficient in using version control systems like Git and GitLab.

• Well-acquainted with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learner when it comes to new technologies.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
