Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Component Development: Create and maintain user-friendly, responsive UI components utilizing React and TypeScript with guidance from senior developers.

• AI-Enhanced Development: Actively use AI coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to expedite boilerplate creation, write unit tests, and debug errors while maintaining code quality.

• UI Design Implementation: Collaborate in translating responsive designs from Figma, emphasizing accurate styling with Tailwind CSS and ensuring basic cross-browser compatibility.

• Localization Assistance: Help configure content in our internationalization systems (i18n), concentrating on content deployment across our 10+ locales.

• CMS Support: Assist in setting up the Sanity CMS Studio, which includes structuring content, developing basic custom input components, and sustaining editor workflows.

• Performance Optimization: Support the team in enhancing website performance by focusing on image optimization, lazy loading, and initial assessments of Core Web Vitals reports.

• Analytics & SEO: Implement established analytics tracking codes (GA4) and apply basic technical SEO best practices, including meta tags and structured data.

• Team Collaboration: Engage in discussions regarding API integration and assist with fundamental data fetching tasks.

• Code Standards: Produce clean, well-documented code, adhere to team coding standards, and actively participate in team code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional or advanced project-based frontend development experience.

• Strong foundational understanding of React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Familiarity with server-side rendering concepts and frameworks, with a preference for Next.js.

• AI Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools to clarify code logic, refactor functions, and enhance daily development processes.

• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or similar is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of responsive design principles and browser debugging tools.

• Familiarity with Git workflows, including cloning, branching, and committing, as well as collaborative development.

• A strong desire to learn and excellent communication skills for seeking clarifications.

• Preferred qualifications include exposure to TypeScript (or readiness to learn immediately).

• Experience with AI-native IDEs (like Cursor) or effective prompt engineering for code generation.

• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, or similar.

• Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization concepts.

• Experience in the healthcare sector or regulated industries.

• Completed relevant projects demonstrating proficiency in component development and styling.
