• You will spearhead the advancement of Seeq’s frontend architecture, enhancing component quality, consistency, usability, and developer experience throughout the product.
• Collaborating closely with our UX, Product, and Engineering teams, you will identify needs, prioritize tasks, and develop reusable frontend foundations that elevate the product's quality.
• You comprehend that exceptional interface design begins with understanding user workflows. You focus on workflows rather than mere pixels and are skilled in designing systems that facilitate analysis, monitoring, triage, configuration, collaboration, and decision-making in complex, data-intensive software.
• This position extends beyond merely creating small UI elements. You will contribute to shaping foundational components, higher-order blocks, page-level templates, and reusable application patterns that cater to real user workflows.
• You thoughtfully consider how AI is transforming product interfaces and the necessary evolution of a frontend system to remain useful, elegant, and effective.
• You are adept at leveraging the best components from the open-source ecosystem instead of building everything from the ground up. You can effectively utilize systems like shadcn/ui and other contemporary component foundations with discernment, extending and adapting them as necessary to align with Seeq’s product, standards, and workflows.
• Additionally, you will ensure that our component system provides an exceptional developer experience in an AI-enhanced landscape. You will create components, patterns, APIs, structures, naming conventions, and documentation that are straightforward to understand, adopt, and use correctly.
• Proven experience in building or evolving component libraries, pattern libraries, or design systems for complex applications is essential.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of designing and constructing sophisticated software systems.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, and HTML primitives.
• A solid understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices is required.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proven technical leadership abilities, with the capacity to guide, mentor, and collaborate with engineers of varying experience levels.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with design tools like Figma to convert designs into production-ready code.
• Ability to create responsive, scalable web experiences across devices and collaborate with designers to ensure visual consistency.
• Capability to implement accessibility standards, ensuring keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and designing inclusive experiences, such as high-contrast and reduced-motion preferences.
• 12-week paid Seeq family leave.
• Unlimited PTO.
• Internet and mobile phone reimbursements.
• Medical benefits.
• Group term life insurance.
• Short-term and long-term disability insurance pre-tax benefits.
• Voluntary vision and dental (ortho) coverage.
• Vacation bonus program.
• Employee Assistance Program.
• Generous home office allowance.
• The best co-workers (we've analyzed the data, so we know it's true).
• Pet-friendly workspace (your dog will be so happy to have you home).
