Front End Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Customer Support) to establish high-level solutions that enhance user experience.

• Work in close partnership with the backend team to design and integrate APIs effectively.

• Create reusable components and front-end libraries for multi-tenant applications.

• Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

• Optimize components for peak performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Adhere to code management practices to ensure proper revision control.

• Respond promptly to bugs that reach production.

• Engage in the scrum development process, writing unit tests for all your work and conducting code reviews. Showcase your achievements in company-wide sprint demos.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a comparable combination of education and experience with 1 to 4 years of development experience.

• Capability to collaborate with designers to guarantee that our applications are usable, accessible, and responsive.

• Comprehension of business requirements and the ability to translate them into technical specifications.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with Vue.js, including knowledge of either the Composition API or Options API.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.

• Understanding of SQL-based databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.

• Experience using tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Slack for collaboration and project management.

• Knowledge of HTTP requests (e.g., Axios, Fetch API).

• Experience with Docker for containerization.

• Additional experience with both Composition API and Options API in Vue.js is advantageous.

• Experience with Server Side rendering (e.g., Next, Nuxt) and Client-side rendering frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular, Svelte).

• Prior experience with front-end migrations.
