Front End Engineer, Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create Sleek’s MTD landing page and web application frontend, ensuring performance metrics exceed 90 on Lighthouse (compliant with Core Web Vitals).

• Build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces using React / Next.js / TailwindCSS in accordance with Sleek’s design standards.

• Enhance initial page load speed and optimize for SEO to boost discoverability and user conversion rates.

• Design a microsite framework for upcoming product verticals featuring reusable layouts and modular content components.

• Implement schema markup, meta optimization, and structured data to enhance search visibility.

• Facilitate the Growth team in launching microsites independently without development dependencies.

• Integrate a headless CMS (Sanity / Contentful / Strapi) with Sleek’s marketing websites.

• Enable non-technical teams to autonomously update content, landing pages, and campaigns.

• Establish version control, preview workflows, and rollback mechanisms for content modifications.

• Deploy and configure Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Mixpanel for comprehensive event tracking.

• Conduct A/B testing (Optimizely / VWO) to experiment with messaging, layout, and funnel enhancements.

• Provide actionable analytics dashboards and ensure event accuracy across web platforms.

• Create and launch a secondary marketing site focused on Sleek’s next business vertical, aligned with the new marketing initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 4–6 years of overall engineering experience, including 1–2 years specifically within Marketing or Growth Engineering roles.

• Exhibit strong frontend engineering expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. A proven ability to navigate complex environments, with experience in Micro Front Ends (MFE) seen as a significant advantage.

• Demonstrate strong skills in SCSS for high-fidelity UI; additional expertise in TailwindCSS or Chakra UI is a plus.

• Dedicate to maintaining code quality through comprehensive unit testing using Jest.

• Have extensive experience in SEO and performance optimization, with a successful history of sustaining Lighthouse scores of 90 or above.

• Show strong integration capabilities with modern CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi) and advanced analytics frameworks, including Google Tag Manager and GA4.

• Proven ability to deliver data-driven, SEO-friendly web applications, including the establishment and execution of A/B testing frameworks.

• Exhibit a high ownership mindset with the ability to execute in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with ambiguity. You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and action-oriented.

• Experience with Zapier or other no-code automation tools to connect engineering and marketing operations is a bonus.

• Must be located in India (working from 9 am to 6 pm Singapore time).
