Front-End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of a contemporary Document Authoring platform

• Provide a high-quality MVP solution

• Convert existing UX/UI and Figma designs into responsive, production-ready front-end applications

• Create intuitive workflows for document authoring

• Integrate the application with backend services, middleware, RESTful APIs, and environments hosted on AWS

• Collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to guarantee smooth system integration

• Adhere to established architectural and engineering standards

• Diagnose and enhance front-end applications

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions

• Balance swift MVP delivery with maintainable, scalable, and high-quality engineering practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with React / React.js or other modern front-end frameworks

• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript development

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design

• Experience in creating production-ready, scalable front-end applications

• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend/middleware

• Familiarity with front-end architecture and component-based development

• Practical experience with state management tools like Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar

• Experience working with applications hosted on AWS and within cloud environments

• Capability to transform UX/UI designs or Figma prototypes into production-ready interfaces

• Strong grasp of accessibility, usability, responsiveness, and front-end performance

• Proficiency with Git/version control and contemporary development practices

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic Agile/product development setting

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, collaboration, and communication skills

• Experience in developing enterprise applications is preferred

• Familiarity with document management, document authoring, rich-text editors, or content management systems is preferred
