Front-End Developer, Vue.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular maintenance of a front-end product in production, ensuring its stability, performance, and code quality.

• Design and enhance features utilizing Vue.js 2 with TypeScript, adhering to the established patterns of the application.

• Oversee and organize application state using Vuex, ensuring predictability and scalability.

• Collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams to define and implement effective solutions.

• Execute structural refactors aimed at improving code readability, reusability, and minimizing technical debt.

• Ensure seamless integration with APIs (Node.js 20), appropriately managing errors and loading states.

• Develop and maintain interfaces using Element-UI, ensuring visual and UX consistency.

• Focus on build and bundle optimizations through Webpack to enhance performance and reduce load times.

• Craft scalable and well-organized styles utilizing Sass/SCSS.

• Engage in code reviews, offering best practices and enhancing technical quality within the team.

• Assist in identifying and resolving production bugs, including conducting root cause analysis.

• Contribute to the advancement of the front-end architecture and improvements in Developer Experience (DX).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Vue.js 2 and TypeScript.

• Proficient in using Vuex for effective state management.

• Experience in consuming REST APIs and integrating with back-end technologies (Node.js).

• Familiarity with Webpack, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Sass/SCSS and scalable CSS methodologies (e.g., BEM or similar).

• Knowledge of component libraries, particularly Element-UI.

• Understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.

• Ability to work with legacy code, comprehending and evolving existing structures.

• Strong grasp of front-end best practices, including performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
