Front End Developer, Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Engage in hands-on development of user-centric immersive and responsive web applications, promoting clean coding practices, testing, process improvements, and ongoing enhancements.

• Utilize advanced TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular, Vue, Svelte, React, etc.) along with modern styling frameworks (like Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules, etc.).

• Contribute to all facets of web products, including the execution of design wireframes, animation/motion, business logic, backend API integrations, as well as incorporating analytics and SEO, performance, and security considerations.

• Deliver pixel-perfect UI/UX designs while upholding exceptional quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.

• Enhance user interfaces for performance, scalability, and accessibility, guaranteeing a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

• Define, validate, implement, and test methods for developing scalable and high-performing software. Apply best coding practices in responsive web design throughout the team.

• Showcase a proven history of developing large frontend applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and accessibility (a11y).

• Collaborate with design and product teams to discover and implement innovative technological solutions that improve customer experiences and boost conversion rates.

• Create and maintain reusable web software components/libraries for internal usage to enhance development efficiency.

• Rapidly prototype proof-of-concept features and applications based on specified requirements.

• Guide developers through code reviews and technical leadership, and spearhead projects alongside engineering and product teams.

• Serve as a product advocate, demonstrating a keen interest in technology trends.

• Complete assigned tasks promptly within project constraints.

• Foster a collaborative work environment and promote a culture of technical ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-15 years of direct experience in building web applications utilizing TypeScript (NextJS, React).

• Proven experience in developing reusable code and libraries.

• Experience in rapidly prototyping and creating proof-of-concept solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand challenges and identify innovative solutions.

• Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas and concepts.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inspire innovative ideas and methodologies.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6.

• Demonstrated success in building large frontend applications with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and accessibility (a11y).

• Strong proficiency in Bootstrap, SCSS, and Tailwind CSS is required.

• Familiarity with component libraries such as Radix UI and ShadCN.

• Experience with API integrations, including REST and GraphQL.

• Proven ability to build cross-browser compatible applications that function seamlessly across all browsers.

• Familiarity with at least one headless CMS (such as Contentful, Sanity, or similar) with server-side rendering (SSR).

• Ability to collaborate effectively within an agile development setting.

• Strong foundation in creating scalable and efficient systems.

• Experience with CSS animations and transitions, as well as WebGL.

• Expert understanding of web accessibility in relation to animations.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
