Front-End Developer – OpenUI5, SAP UI5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and develop responsive SAP UI5/OpenUI5 applications in accordance with SAP Fiori guidelines.

• Integrate UI5 applications with OData services and RESTful APIs.

• Collaborate with backend teams to utilize microservices and ensure a smooth data flow.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

• Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance optimization of UI components.

• Implement best practices for UI5 Tooling, version control (Git), and testing frameworks (QUnit, OPA5).

• Work within an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in MVC architecture, XML/JS views, custom controls, and theming.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

• Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and JSON.

• Skills in wireframing, prototyping, user journey mapping, and SAP Fiori UX principles.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and modular application design.

• Experience in UI5 Tooling, npm, and build processes.

• Knowledge of version control (Git) and agile methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly interfaces.

• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Nice-to-have: Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).

• Nice-to-have: Performance tuning experience for UI5 applications.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with testing frameworks (QUnit, OPA5).

• Nice-to-have: Understanding of accessibility standards.
