Front-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Create and implement engaging, responsive user interfaces for various financial services applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences.

• Implement Best Practices: Utilize modern best practices and frameworks in front-end development, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and adherence to accessibility standards.

• Optimization and Performance: Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability, particularly in response to the high demands of the FinTech sector, such as secure transactions and data privacy.

• Version Control & Testing: Employ version control (Git) for effective code management and utilize testing tools to guarantee the quality and reliability of front-end code.

• Stay Updated with Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front-end development, FinTech innovations, and web security best practices.

• Ensure Compliance: Confirm that all work complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards for financial services applications (e.g., GDPR, PSD2).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a **Front-End Developer** within a **FinTech** or **financial services** setting (preferably with Australian, UK, or US-based companies).

• Strong expertise in **HTML5**, **CSS3**, and **JavaScript** (including frameworks like **React**, **Vue.js**, or **Angular**).

• Knowledge of **API integration** (such as RESTful services and WebSockets) to connect front-end applications with backend services.

• Familiarity with **Version Control** systems, particularly **Git** and **GitHub/GitLab**.

• Experience with responsive design and cross-platform compatibility.

• Understanding of **UI/UX principles**, especially tailored for financial applications, ensuring usability and clarity.

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., **Jira**, **Trello**, **Asana**).

• Experience with design collaboration tools like **Figma** or **Sketch**.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work within a collaborative team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A **Portfolio** is REQUIRED.

• **Nice-to-Haves:**

• Familiarity with **Financial Data** or **Blockchain technologies** is advantageous.

• Understanding of **RegTech** (regulatory technology) and **security** standards in the FinTech industry.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., **AWS**, **Azure**, **Google Cloud**).

• Knowledge of **Unit Testing** and **CI/CD pipelines**.
