Front End Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, design, and document the front-end architecture for large-scale web applications that integrate with Adobe Edge Delivery Services and Adobe Experience Manager.

• Establish coding standards, strategies for performance optimization, and plans for scalability.

• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and regulatory standards.

• Lead the architectural and technical approach for EDS migration.

• Evaluate websites to determine migration patterns and best practices for implementation.

• Identify technical dependencies, risks, and architectural considerations.

• Develop a methodology for migration and a scalable approach for implementation.

• Support effort estimation, delivery planning, and technical governance.

• Drive the development of reusable front-end components and templates.

• Integrate Adobe Experience Manager with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to create personalized, data-driven experiences.

• Implement solutions that are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and work across various platforms.

• Collaborate with backend teams to establish API contracts and ensure smooth integration.

• Mentor developers and perform code reviews.

• Work alongside UX/UI teams to guarantee design accuracy and optimal user experiences.

• Stay updated with advancements in front-end frameworks, Adobe technologies, and industry best practices.

• Identify opportunities to utilize EDS for content delivery, personalization, and experience enhancement.

• Promote continuous improvement in deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and automated testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in front-end development, including at least 3 years in an architectural or technical lead capacity.

• Demonstrated expertise in front-end development with Adobe Experience Manager, especially AEM SPA Editor.

• Practical experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, covering configuration, deployment, and integration.

• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.

• In-depth understanding of REST and GraphQL API integration, asynchronous data management, and caching techniques.

• Experience in performance tuning, code splitting, and lazy loading for extensive applications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and SEO optimization.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to lead through influence and encourage collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• A strategic mindset that balances technical excellence with business objectives.

• Familiarity with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer, React or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, REST, and GraphQL APIs.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
