This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the virtual front desk security representative, overseeing and managing access control systems, visitor management tools, and security cameras remotely in real time.
• Welcome and authenticate visitors, contractors, and personnel through virtual platforms and video conferencing tools, verifying their identities and credentials before permitting access to facilities or systems.
• Monitor and address incoming access requests, security alerts, and notifications using access control management systems.
• Keep precise visitor and access logs in line with facility security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site security staff, facility managers, and law enforcement during security events, unauthorized access attempts, or emergencies.
• Uphold facility security policies and procedures.
• Issue, track, and manage visitor badges and temporary access credentials.
• Supervise multiple security camera feeds and access control dashboards, identifying and escalating potential security issues.
• Communicate security protocols, access procedures, and facility policies to visitors, employees, and stakeholders.
• Maintain security logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Contribute to the development and continuous enhancement of remote security desk procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist with after-hours security monitoring and on-call responsibilities as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.
• Experience in front desk operations, customer service, or access control management.
• Familiarity with security monitoring systems, access control platforms, or video surveillance systems.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficient in virtual communication platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Experience with access control management systems, visitor management software, and remote security monitoring tools.
• Strong observational and situational awareness abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, systems, and responsibilities concurrently.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and adhere to security protocols with minimal direct supervision.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices related to physical security, access control, and handling personally identifiable information.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
