This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Serve as a reliable subject matter expert, acknowledged by internal teams, clients, and retail partners for comprehensive product knowledge, operational excellence, and adherence to procedures.
• Professionally represent the company on-site, ensuring customer teams are adequately prepared to manage departmental complexities and uphold operational standards.
• Independently travel to designated retail locations, meticulously planning store visits ahead of time with specific objectives, agendas, and anticipated outcomes.
• Communicate effectively before, during, and after store visits, coordinating resources, providing updates on progress, and sharing visit summaries with stakeholders.
• Assist with new store openings, remodels, and resets, which includes:
• - Aiding in the setup of cases to align with plan-o-grams
• - Training associates on executing plan-o-grams and maintaining production standards
• - Offering production support to fulfill volume requirements before and following openings
• Implement and sustain new item setups, seasonal transitions, and continuous plan-o-gram updates based on business demands.
• Keep program documentation, merchandising tools, and category-specific manuals to ensure consistent execution.
• Generate and present reporting and insights, including:
• - Store visit reports
• - Monthly category performance reports featuring trend analysis and seasonal recommendations
• - Annual category reviews and ad-hoc analyses as necessary
• Regularly collaborate with merchandisers and leadership, providing updates, introducing new programs or items, and aligning on execution strategies.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support business and client objectives.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 0 - 3 years of practical experience in retail Fresh Foods, Bakery, and/or Deli, Produce, and Meat operations.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in supporting daily department operations, merchandising, and production.
• Strong understanding of Fresh Foods, Bakery, and/or Deli, Produce, and Meat department operations, including production methods and merchandising standards.
• Capability to set up displays, implement plan-o-grams, and engage in resets and remodels independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable training and guiding others through practical, in-store execution.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple store visits and competing priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to assigned retail locations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on-site in retail environments for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
