French to Arabic OPI/VRI Interpreters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which you are interpreting, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions are made.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited French Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretations of messages.

• Implement standards of practice consistently.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm in obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (French) and a native speaker of the target language ("Arabic").

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience within a reputable interpretation company.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Strong emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
