This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independent topic generation

• Preparation of topics suitable for print and online formats in coordination with the editorial team

• Reporting on local events and occurrences

• Engagement during current journalistic situations (e.g., fires, police operations, severe weather, etc.)

• Residence within the distribution area

• Students, scholars, freelance journalists, self-employed individuals, and others actively engaged in life who have time to dedicate and a strong interest in regional topics; career changers are welcome!

• Sociability, curiosity, and creativity

• Mobility and flexibility

• Affinity for digital platforms

• Experience as a journalist is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Enjoyment in writing, formulating, researching, and photographing, with a preference for filming as well

• Excellent command of the German language
