This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Handle contracts, agreements, and various legal documents.

• Conduct comprehensive post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading tasks.

• Become a part of TransPerfect’s global brand team.

• Engage in the development of TransPerfect’s extensive freelancer network.

• Successfully complete onboarding procedures and service-related assessments.

• Offer distinct per-word pricing for MTPE and proofreading services.

• Assist with upcoming localization projects related to contracts and legal documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native speaker of Portuguese (Brazil).

• Relevant experience in legal localization projects is essential.

• Language pair required: Simplified Chinese to Portuguese (Brazil).

• Proven experience in full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading is necessary.

• Candidates should have either 2+ years of professional experience along with a language-related degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Completion of a contract-related test is mandatory.

• An MTPE test must also be completed.

• A free subject-specific test and other service-related assessments are required.

• Ability to provide separate rates for MTPE and proofreading in USD is necessary.

• Detailed experience information is required, including years of service, estimated total word counts, clients served, subject areas, and document types.

• Proficiency in Portuguese (Brazil) and Simplified Chinese is required.

• Experience in localizing legal documents is preferred.
