Freelancer – Acquisition & MINT Support, Primary School/OGS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct independent outreach to primary schools through phone calls, in-person meetings, and on-site visits when necessary.

• Gain familiarity with the OGS/OGT structures.

• Transition into pedagogical activities with children, including courses and after-school clubs, beginning after the autumn holidays.

• Enjoy supported onboarding – you will have assistance throughout the process.

• Deliver engaging STEM courses and workshops for children and young people aged 8 to 15, covering topics such as experiments, technology modules, and both biological and technical subjects.

• Serve as a lead instructor or assistant based on your experience, whether solo or as part of a team.

• Prepare for and follow up on workshops, with some tasks manageable remotely.

• Organize and utilize our STEM activity kit effectively.

• Contribute to the development of new content; your ideas and expertise are highly valued.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong passion and curiosity for STEM subjects, including physics, technology, biology, and computer science.

• A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people.

• Initial experience in youth or educational work, pedagogical support, or conducting workshops is beneficial, but not mandatory.

• A sense of responsibility, reliability, and a collaborative team spirit.

• Initiative, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn about our topics.

• Proficiency in the German language at a native level.
