Freelance Video Editor – Short-Form Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Madagascar.

📋 Description

• Edit impactful short-form videos tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

• Craft compelling visual hooks within the initial few seconds.

• Ensure videos remain engaging with a fast-paced rhythm.

• Implement modern and relevant transitions.

• Incorporate subtitles, effects, and animations when they add genuine value.

• Uphold the brands’ visual identity and positioning.

• Deliver polished, smooth content optimized for social media platforms.

• Adhere to delivery deadlines while maintaining responsiveness in communications.

• Handle around 15 videos weekly and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Consistently maintain quality and quickly integrate feedback.

• Propose enhancements, pinpoint strong sequences, and recommend effects or transitions.

• Comprehend the objectives that underpin each piece of content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro.

• Strong understanding of short-form video formats.

• In-depth knowledge of best practices for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

• Demonstrated experience in video editing.

• Capability to produce captivating, high-performing videos.

• Strong sense of pacing and narrative structure.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

• Organized, responsive, self-driven, and detail-oriented.

• Capable of working swiftly without sacrificing quality.

• Creative, inquisitive, and proactive in suggesting ideas.
