Freelance Video Editor – Performance & UGC Ads

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit 1–3 scripts for each project, and occasionally 4–5, utilizing various hooks and structures, primarily for voice-over and infrequently for talking-head formats.

• Generate subtitles and voiceovers in US and DE for nearly all projects.

• Produce a clean version of each project, free of badges or text.

• Curate footage from the content database and incorporate new material to prevent visual redundancy.

• Label final advertisements according to the Doonails naming convention.

• Manage the entire workflow using ClickUp, Notion, and Frame, including approval feedback processes.

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance creative quality and performance.

• Create upload-ready performance and UGC ads for Meta while aiding in the launch of the native TikTok Shop in the US and DE.

• Boost testing volume and enhance thumb-stop and hold rates with more compelling and diverse hooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing performance and UGC ads for Meta, and ideally for TikTok and TikTok Shop as well.

• Familiarity with voiceover and subtitle processes, preferably within the US and DE markets.

• Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere.

• Experience using CapCut.

• Strong ability to identify thumb-stopping hooks and deliver a wide range of creative variations.

• Independent and proactive work ethic with strategic thinking capabilities.

• Capability to collaborate with and actively seek out new material from an existing content and footage library.

• Proficient English is essential for US content.

• Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
