Freelance Translator, Korean to English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Convert patent-related material from Korean to English while maintaining the original meaning in a clear and comprehensible manner.

• Adhere to the translation process and guidelines for CAT tool utilization.

• Engage in effective communication and respond swiftly in English.

• Translate, copy edit, and conduct MTPE on patent materials.

• Review and proofread patents in applicable technical areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of experience in translating and reviewing content within patent domains.

• Native proficiency in the target language.

• A degree in linguistics, translation, or relevant experience.

• Capability to translate, copy edit, and execute MTPE.

• Experience in translating and proofreading patents in fields such as Electricity, Computer Science, Mechanics, Medical Devices, Chemistry, or Biology.

• Immediate availability is required.

• Familiarity with the XTM CAT tool is necessary.
