📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and manage the voice of Complex Bets on TikTok, showcasing exceptional judgment regarding sports betting, predictive markets, sports culture, and online conversations.

• Create, curate, and publish all content for the Complex Bets TikTok account, ensuring a balance of entertainment, education, and audience interaction.

• Identify and leverage trending topics in sports, betting, and prediction markets, generating content around significant sporting events, market fluctuations, cultural moments, and online discussions.

• Lead community management, moderation, and audience interaction while preserving the unique voice of Complex Bets.

• Identify and propose viral betting storylines, sports narratives, predictive market movements, and social-first content opportunities to editorial and social teams.

• Transform betting lines, futures, prop bets, prediction markets, and sports data into engaging and digestible TikTok content.

• Take ownership of key content themes across major sports calendars, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, UFC, college sports, soccer, and emerging prediction market opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with editorial, video, design, commerce, partnerships, and events teams to create TikTok-first coverage and campaigns.

• Promote Complex Bets content initiatives, live events, watch parties, partner activations, and commerce opportunities.

• Generate original real-time content around games, live events, breaking news, betting trends, internet memes, and cultural moments.

• Create reactive social content during live sporting events and significant betting moments, often in real-time.

• Engage in editorial, content, and social brainstorming sessions to help define the broader voice and strategy of Complex Bets.

• Monitor analytics, audience engagement, platform trends, and sports-related social performance, regularly sharing insights and best practices.

• Oversee editorial publishing workflows and coordinate posting schedules across Complex Networks.

• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content production, trend analysis, audience insights, and creative development.

• Appear on camera as a personality and analyst for TikTok content when needed.

• Develop recurring TikTok franchises, series, and content formats that enhance audience loyalty and engagement.

• Manage freelancers, creators, contributors, and interns as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in social media, editorial, sports media, or content at a publisher, sports brand, betting company, or media platform.

• In-depth understanding of the Complex brand, audience, and voice.

• Strong knowledge of sports betting, gambling culture, fantasy sports, predictive markets, and sports media.

• Passion for sports, internet culture, and real-time discourse.

• Proven expertise in TikTok platform strategy, audience growth, and engagement optimization.

• Ability to swiftly identify emerging narratives and trends before they achieve peak virality.

• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and decision-making abilities.

• Comfortable appearing on camera and cultivating a personal presence within content.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays during major sporting events and key moments.

• Strong understanding of responsible gaming guidelines and sports betting compliance requirements.

• Extensive knowledge of major sports leagues, athletes, sports media personalities, and online sports communities.

• Familiarity with prediction market platforms, odds movement, market sentiment, and betting-related social conversations.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a dynamic environment.

• Self-starter with robust organizational and project management skills.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and mobile-first content creation tools.
