Freelance Software Engineer – Full Stack, Node.js, React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain full-stack applications utilizing Node.js, React, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.

• Develop and uphold integrations with external APIs, including REST and various web service technologies.

• Enhance and tailor our core platform to satisfy customer-specific business needs.

• Craft clean, maintainable, and scalable backend services alongside frontend applications.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to comprehend integration requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Diagnose integration challenges across distributed systems and liaise with third-party vendors as needed.

• Produce well-tested, production-ready code, emphasizing reliability, performance, and security.

• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Contribute to documentation concerning integrations, APIs, and internal development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript.

• Professional background in developing backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

• Experience in building contemporary frontend applications with React.

• Strong grasp of PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.

• Experience in consuming and integrating external APIs.

• Good understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP protocols.

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to work autonomously.

• Excellent communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
