Freelance Market Research Analyst, Vietnamese Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Assist in performing primary research in Vietnamese.

• Translate reports, articles, and database documents from Vietnamese to English.

• Participate in client calls.

• Support the consultant during client calls by answering questions using insights obtained from primary research.

• Transform Vietnamese documents into slides and templates provided by the consultant.

• Aid the consultant in reviewing AI-generated translations of documents from English to Vietnamese.

• Work autonomously in a remote setting with minimal supervision while upholding high standards of quality and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience in market research, business research, consulting, or a related field.

• Proficient in written and spoken Vietnamese.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.

• Business-level Vietnamese proficiency for document translation.

• Capability to conduct primary research and/or assist in primary research by translating between English and Vietnamese.

• Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

• Experience in data analysis, report writing, and presentation development is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with the Chemicals, Mining, or Inorganic Chemicals industries is a plus, but not required.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are advantageous but not compulsory.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with research databases and analytical tools is a plus.

• Must be based in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
