Freelance Long-Term EN – Traditional Chinese (HK) Life Science Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Accountable for translating and proofreading documents for a diverse range of clients within the Life Sciences sectors.

• Develop and finalize the finished product prior to delivery to the client.

• Work in collaboration with Project Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification that includes substantial translation training.

• A minimum of 2 years of translation experience along with a college degree.

• At least 5 years of translation experience without a college degree.

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by a recognized government authority.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong).

• Specialization in any of the aforementioned fields.

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Ability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.
