Freelance Linguists, English to Albanian, Financial/Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Translate financial and banking materials from English into Albanian.

• Assist with the translation requirements of TransPerfect's clients.

• Complete a brief, client-specific e-learning module.

• Undergo a background check mandated by the bank if moving forward with onboarding.

• Operate as a freelance linguist within TransPerfect's translator database.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in the target language.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Expertise in Financial/Banking subject matter.

• Strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.

• Ability to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; 2 years of translation experience along with a college degree; 5 years of experience without a degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant government authority.

• Demonstrated experience with finance/banking content.

• Completion of a brief, client-specific e-learning module.

• Background check required by the bank if proceeding with onboarding.

• Must be based in the United States.
