This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients within the Insurance and Legal industries

• Create and finalize the finished product prior to client delivery

• Collaborate with Project Managers and work under the supervision of a manager

• Translate from English to Simplified Chinese (Singapore)

• Assist with the translation requirements of international clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore)

• Expertise in Legal and/or Insurance translation

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Capacity to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone

• Required to sign a confidentiality agreement

• Must complete Translation and Proofreading assessments

• Background check is mandatory

• Submission of the most recent CV highlighting relevant Translation and Proofreading experience is necessary

• Must propose the best Translation per word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD

• One of the following qualifications is required: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training; 2 years of translation experience with a college degree; 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government authority
