Freelance Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation during legal proceedings, which includes:

• Depositions

• Meetings between attorneys and clients

• Matters related to the court

• Interviews with witnesses

• Legal consultations

• Uphold neutrality and adhere to professional ethics consistently.

• Accurately interpret legal terminology and context without omissions or alterations.

• Manage confidential and sensitive information in line with company and client standards.

• Maintain high-quality interpretation and accuracy standards.

• Adhere to client-specific protocols and operational guidelines.

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant privacy laws and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Professional experience in Legal Interpretation.

• Strong grasp of legal terminology.

• Excellent skills in listening, communication, and note-taking.

• Ability to remain neutral and professional in sensitive circumstances.

• Preferred certification as an Interpreter or relevant language qualification.

• Experience in supporting legal clients.

• Prior experience in court settings and deposition environments.

• Familiarity with confidentiality obligations and interpreter ethics.
