Freelance Health Care Professional – Mitochondrial Disease Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assembling a group of English-speaking healthcare professionals for an upcoming research study concerning primary mitochondrial disease and progressive neurological or muscular disorders.

• Potential involvement in a brief screening questionnaire to determine eligibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently overseeing patients with: Primary mitochondrial disease (high priority), or Progressive neurological or muscular conditions in adults (such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other rare diseases).

• Utilize the 30-second Sit to Stand test (STS) in clinical practice and/or research for patient assessment.

• Have conducted the 30-second STS a minimum of 20 times.

• Proficient in English.
