Freelance Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create visually engaging workshop materials for the Client Services Materials team at DEKRA.

• Collaborate with internal Graphic Designers, Consultants, and subject matter experts.

• Ensure visual consistency and compliance with DEKRA’s brand standards.

• Edit and enhance templates, layouts, slide decks, and workbook visuals.

• Partner with internal project leads to provide graphic assets for presentations and workbooks.

• Manage your schedule and workload according to established project timelines.

• Potentially assist with multiple DEKRA projects based on workload and alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated freelance experience in graphics or learning design.

• A portfolio showcasing visually impactful learning or training materials.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud at an advanced level.

• Capability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate remotely.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365, particularly MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

• Experience in designing workshop, facilitation, or learning materials.

• Proven ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations, participant workbooks, and visual learning assets for corporate audiences.

• Understanding of visual learning principles, information design, and adult learning theories.

• Experience working within established brand standards and applying them across various deliverables and formats.

• Ability to convert complex concepts and subject matter expert content into engaging, visually effective materials.

• Experience collaborating with remote teams and managing feedback from various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design best practices for presentations and learning materials.

• Proficiency in design templates, icons, illustrations, infographics, and visual frameworks.

• Knowledge of video, animation, or motion graphics tools is an advantage.

• Responsible for your own equipment, tools, and software unless otherwise agreed upon.

• Provides services independently and is not considered an employee.
