Freelance Curriculum Content Developer – Spanish Language

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide vision and leadership in the creation and development of effective educational products tailored to clients’ specific needs.

• Collaborate directly with the Director of Publishing Operations and the Content Manager.

• Incorporate research-based pedagogy and subject matter expertise into curriculum products.

• Serve as a project manager.

• Lead or collaborate across teams in curriculum design and content development.

• Review content to ensure alignment with standards, clarity, and cohesion.

• Create content for K–12 publications at the state or national level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct and substantial experience in Spanish Language Arts, language immersion, or dual language environments.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing content for K–12 students for publication at the state or national level.

• More than 2 years of teaching experience.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in leading teams, collaborating across teams, and/or engaging in curriculum design under organizational leadership.

• Proven ability to review content for standards alignment, clarity, and cohesion.

• Strong familiarity with both digital and print development projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of grade-level appropriate content, college- and career-ready standards, and pedagogy.

• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant research.

• Ability to meet client requirements and deadlines consistently.

• Significant experience with publishing tools, including content templates, InCopy, and assessment platforms.

• A belief that all students can engage in rigorous, meaningful work.

• Completion of a brief vetting task is required.

• Signing of non-disclosure and business agreements is mandatory upon selection.
