Freelance Creative Translator, Transcreator – Spanish (Latin America)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Translate and creatively adapt marketing, entertainment, and multimedia content to engage and connect with local audiences.

• Collaborate with internal and linguistic teams to guarantee high-quality output across various platforms.

• Conduct research to grasp cultural nuances, ensuring translations are culturally relevant rather than merely literal.

• Review and provide constructive feedback on marketing projects to contribute to their overall success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in translation and transcreation, preferably within a marketing context.

• Fluent in English, with native-level proficiency in Spanish (Latin America), along with outstanding writing skills in Spanish.

• Strong grasp of marketing principles, with the ability to adapt tone and style to align with various brand guidelines; experience with entertainment or global brand content is advantageous.

• Experience in translating or transcreating multimedia entertainment content, such as TV series and movie synopses, title localization, PR, and other creative content related to TV and film entertainment, is a plus.

• Familiarity with CAT tools is an added advantage.
