Freelance Creative Translator, Transcreator – Spanish, Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Translate and creatively adapt marketing, entertainment, and multimedia content to connect with and engage local audiences.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and linguistic specialists to ensure high-quality results across diverse platforms.

• Conduct thorough research to grasp cultural nuances, guaranteeing that translations are not only accurate but also culturally pertinent.

• Review and provide constructive feedback on marketing initiatives to support their overall success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, or a similar field.

• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in translation and transcreation, ideally within a marketing setting.

• Proficient in English, with native-level fluency in Spanish (Latin America) and outstanding writing skills in Spanish.

• Strong grasp of marketing principles and the ability to modify tone and style to align with various brand guidelines; experience with entertainment or global brand content is advantageous.

• Experience translating or transcreating multimedia entertainment content, such as TV series and movie synopses, title localization, PR, and other creative materials related to television and film is a plus.

• Familiarity with CAT tools is desirable.
