Freelance Copywriters, Editors – Native English Speakers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Enjoy watching Japanese shows and films in their original language.

• Create English synopses for various shows and movies.

• Edit and enhance existing English synopses.

• Incorporate feedback through several rounds of revisions.

• Generate copywriting or editing content for independent films, series, and episodes.

• Complete around 5 to 10 titles each week.

• Collaborate with Wordbank and international creative production clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native English speaker.

• Proficient in Japanese at a high level.

• Residency in Japan is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in copywriting or editing.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to present a portfolio or work samples.

• Experience in writing or editing show or movie synopses is preferred.

• Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
