Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Compose LinkedIn posts for senior professionals.

• Develop well-structured LinkedIn and email newsletters.

• Create in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews.

• Generate show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for episodes.

• Craft interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Write follow-up posts for events taking place in various cities and communities.

• Produce short-form content for WhatsApp and unique formats like playbooks.

• Utilize podcast recordings, interview transcripts, and insights from events as source material.

• Leverage Claude or ChatGPT for research, initial drafts, structuring, and transcript processing; review and refine all AI-generated content.

• Work closely with clients to gather feedback, information, and approvals, and incorporate them into the work.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the Content Team.

• Independently publish and schedule content using the available tools.

• Monitor content performance and continuously enhance the strategy.

• Oversee multiple German-speaking communities, each with distinct tones and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• Proficient in English, at least at B2 level, preferably C1.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing German-language texts across various formats (LinkedIn posts, newsletters, long-form content) is required.

• Experience writing for a professional or executive audience is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO is a plus.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is beneficial.

• Ability to produce clean formatting and publish-ready copy.

• Comfortable adhering to strict requirements regarding tone, links, tagging, and language consistency.

• Confident in using LinkedIn and understanding engagement strategies.

• Apply in German, including a CV, a brief cover letter, a writing portfolio featuring at least two formats, your expected hourly rate, and your available weekly capacity.

• A short writing test will be required for shortlisted candidates.
