Freelance Copywriter, B2B Communities, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Developing content tailored for C-level executives and decision-makers in the German-speaking market

• Creating LinkedIn posts aimed at senior-level professionals

• Designing LinkedIn and email newsletters

• Composing in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews

• Crafting show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for episodes

• Preparing interview guides that include agendas and essential questions

• Writing follow-up posts for events categorized by city and community

• Generating short-form content for WhatsApp and specialized formats like playbooks

• Utilizing Claude or ChatGPT for research, initial drafts, organization, and transcript preparation

• Coordinating with clients to gather feedback, information, and approvals, and integrating them into the content

• Collaborating with the Content Coordinator and the Content Team

• Taking initiative to independently publish and schedule content using existing tools

• Tracking content performance and actively enhancing the content strategy

• Delivering timely, high-quality content with minimal revision requests

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential

• Strong command of English (minimum B2, ideally C1)

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a copywriter or content writer

• Robust portfolio showcasing German-language texts across at least two different formats

• Experience in a B2B or digital media setting is preferred

• Background in writing for a professional or executive audience is a distinct advantage

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO is beneficial

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus

• Ability to produce well-formatted, publication-ready texts

• Capacity to work independently, dependably, and in a structured, proactive manner

• Openness to adhering to established guidelines for CTAs, linking, tagging, and language/tone consistency

• Confident communication skills when interacting with community hosts and clients

• Application in German that includes CV, a brief cover letter, writing portfolio, hourly rate expectations, and weekly availability

• A short writing test will be required for shortlisted candidates
