Freelance Copywriter – German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop content tailored for German-speaking C-level executives in large organizations.

• Deliver insightful thought leadership and engage new members of the community.

• Craft LinkedIn posts aimed at senior professionals.

• Design LinkedIn newsletters and email communications.

• Produce in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews.

• Generate show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for episodes.

• Prepare interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Create follow-up posts for events in various cities and communities.

• Develop short-form content for WhatsApp and unique formats like playbooks.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and processing transcripts.

• Review and refine AI-generated content.

• Interact with clients to collect and integrate feedback, information, and approvals.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the content team.

• Generate content in accordance with guidelines and handle its publication and scheduling personally.

• Track content performance and aid in shaping the content strategy.

• Oversee multiple German-speaking communities simultaneously while adapting to various tones and rules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• Proficient in English, with a minimum of B2 level (C1 preferred).

• At least three years of experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• A strong portfolio showcasing German-language texts across diverse formats is essential.

• Experience in B2B or digital media contexts is advantageous.

• Background in writing for professional or executive audiences is a distinct benefit.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is helpful.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Ability to produce cleanly formatted, publication-ready texts.

• Independent, organized, and proactive work style.

• Capacity to consistently adhere to stringent guidelines regarding tone of voice, linking, tagging, and language logic.

• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
