Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Compose LinkedIn posts tailored for senior professionals and executives.

• Design structured LinkedIn and email newsletters.

• Develop in-depth articles and case studies based on interviews with experts.

• Craft show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for episodes.

• Create interview guides that include agendas and essential questions.

• Write follow-up posts for events in various cities and communities.

• Generate short-form content and playbooks for WhatsApp.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Collaborate with clients to collect feedback, information, and approvals, integrating them into the content.

• Work alongside the Content Coordinator and content team.

• Create, publish, and schedule high-quality content using appropriate tools.

• Track content performance and continuously refine the content strategy.

• Manage multiple German-speaking communities, each with distinct hosts, tones, and rules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• English proficiency at least at B2 level, preferably C1.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a copywriter or content writer, ideally within a B2B or digital media context.

• A strong portfolio showcasing German-language writing across various formats is essential.

• Experience writing for a professional or executive audience is highly advantageous.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is a plus.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a content management system like Sanity is beneficial.

• Ability to produce cleanly formatted and publication-ready copy.

• Confidence in managing community hosts, independently meeting deadlines, and consistently enforcing community guidelines.

• Applicants should submit their application in German, including a CV, a brief cover letter, a writing portfolio demonstrating at least two formats, expected hourly rate, and weekly availability.

• Willingness to undertake a brief writing test for shortlisted candidates.
