Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Craft German-language content tailored for C-level executives and key decision-makers.

• Develop engaging posts for LinkedIn.

• Compose LinkedIn newsletters and email newsletters.

• Write in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews.

• Create show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for podcast episodes.

• Design interview guides that include agendas and essential questions.

• Write follow-up posts for events targeted at specific cities and communities.

• Generate short-form content suitable for WhatsApp and specialized formats like playbooks.

• Utilize podcast recordings, interview transcripts, and insights from events as source material.

• Leverage Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, transcript processing, and reviewing AI-generated content.

• Directly engage with clients to gather and integrate feedback, information, and approvals.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the content team.

• Format content according to guidelines, self-publish, and schedule postings.

• Track content performance and assist in the continuous evolution of the content strategy.

• Simultaneously manage multiple German-speaking communities, adapting to various tones and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• Proficiency in English at least at B2 level, preferably C1.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• A strong portfolio showcasing German-language texts in at least two formats (e.g., LinkedIn posts, newsletters, or long-form content) is required.

• Experience in B2B or digital media contexts is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with writing for a professional or executive audience is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO for blog articles is a plus.

• Experience with GenAI tools and a keen awareness of AI-specific phrasing and quality assurance.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is beneficial.

• Ability to produce clean, publication-ready texts without the need for extensive revisions.

• A self-sufficient, reliable, organized, and proactive working approach.

• Capability to manage deadlines and various community contexts independently.

• Proficient in adhering to strict guidelines for CTAs, links, tagging, and language norms.

• Confident communication skills for interacting with community hosts and clients.
