Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop content in German for various B2B communities.

• Craft LinkedIn posts aimed at senior professionals and executives.

• Create newsletters for LinkedIn and email distribution.

• Produce in-depth articles and case studies based on interviews with experts.

• Write show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for podcast episodes.

• Prepare interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Draft follow-up posts for events in cities and communities.

• Generate short-form content for WhatsApp and specialized formats like playbooks.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, initial drafts, structuring, transcript processing, and ensuring the quality of AI-generated content.

• Liaise with clients regarding specific deliverables, gather feedback, and secure approvals.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the Content Team.

• Independently publish and schedule content using designated tools.

• Track content performance and aid in formulating the content strategy.

• Manage multiple communities concurrently, each with distinct hosts, tones, and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level, ideally C1.

• At least 3 years of experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• A robust portfolio of German-language written material across at least two formats, including LinkedIn posts, newsletters, or long-form articles.

• Capability to write for a professional or executive audience.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO for blog articles is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GenAI tools and the skill to review and enhance AI-generated content.

• Experience with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a benefit.

• Ability to produce well-formatted, publish-ready texts that require no revisions.

• Independent, organized, and proactive approach to work.

• Confident communication skills when interacting with community hosts and clients.

• Competence in managing deadlines and personal workload.

• Consistent compliance with requirements for CTAs, links, tagging, and language consistency.

• Strong awareness of tone and target audience.

• Willingness to accept feedback and pursue professional growth.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn and an understanding of engagement strategies.

• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.

• Application in German, including CV, a brief cover letter, writing portfolio, expected hourly rate, and available weekly hours.

• Participation in a brief writing test for shortlisted candidates.
