Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Generate German-language content aimed at executives and decision-makers within large organizations.

• Develop LinkedIn posts and newsletters.

• Compose email newsletters.

• Create in-depth articles and case studies based on interviews with experts.

• Produce show notes, titles, and descriptions for episodes.

• Prepare interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Write follow-up posts for events targeting cities and communities.

• Design short formats for WhatsApp as well as specialized formats like playbooks.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting initial versions, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Engage with clients to gather feedback and approvals, integrating them into the content.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and Content Team.

• Independently publish and schedule content using the necessary tools.

• Track content performance and help shape the content strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• English language skills at a minimum of B2 level, preferably C1.

• At least 3 years of experience in copywriting or content creation.

• Experience in B2B or digital media environments is preferable.

• A compelling portfolio of German-language writings across various formats is required.

• Experience with professional or executive audiences is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Ability to produce cleanly formatted and publication-ready texts.

• Strong communication skills with clients and the ability to integrate feedback independently.

• Dependable, organized, and proactive work ethic.

• Capable of independent communication with community hosts and managing deadlines.

• Consistent adherence to specifications regarding CTAs, links, tagging, and tone.

• Keen awareness of tone and understanding of the target audience.

• Openness to feedback and a desire for professional growth.

• Proficient use of LinkedIn and a solid grasp of engagement strategies.

• Submit applications in German, including a CV, a brief cover letter, a writing portfolio with at least two formats, expected hourly rate, and available weekly capacity.

• A short writing test will be required for shortlisted candidates.
