Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Craft content tailored for German-speaking C-level executives and decision-makers.

• Develop LinkedIn posts aimed at senior professionals.

• Compose newsletters for LinkedIn and email distribution.

• Produce in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews.

• Write show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for podcast episodes.

• Create interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Generate event follow-up posts segmented by city and community.

• Develop short-form content for WhatsApp and unique formats such as playbooks.

• Utilize podcast recordings, interview transcripts, and insights from events as source materials.

• Employ Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Engage with clients to gather, integrate, and secure feedback, information, and approvals.

• Collaborate closely with the Content Coordinator and Content Team.

• Produce content in line with specifications, managing publication and scheduling independently.

• Track content performance and actively contribute to the evolution of the content strategy.

• Simultaneously manage multiple German-speaking communities, adapting to various tones and community guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• English proficiency at least at B2 level, preferably C1.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• A robust portfolio showcasing German-language writing across diverse formats is essential.

• Experience writing for a professional or executive audience is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Capability to efficiently utilize generative AI tools and edit AI-generated content.

• Ability to produce clean, publication-ready copy.

• An independent, dependable, and organized working style.

• Proficient in managing community hosts, client communications, and meeting deadlines.

• Commitment to consistently applying established guidelines for tone, linking, tagging, and language logic.

• Applications must be submitted in German and include a CV, a brief cover letter, a writing portfolio with at least two formats, expected hourly rate, and available weekly capacity.

• Candidates on the shortlist will be required to complete a brief writing test.
