Freelance Brand Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop compelling visual identities for real-world brands and products within the Tendem project.

• Create essential brand assets, such as logos, complete visual identities, and detailed color palettes.

• Generate, organize, and present variations of key brand components.

• Maintain brand consistency across both internal and external materials, including pitch presentations and social media kits.

• Construct scalable, enduring visual systems that adhere to contemporary design standards.

• Assess design quality for both digital and print mediums.

• Refresh brand aesthetics and ensure a unified visual experience across various platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communications is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related creative disciplines is advantageous.

• A strong portfolio focused on brand identity development, logo design, and detailed brand guidelines is required.

• An in-depth understanding of how core branding is applied across digital and print formats.

• A strategic and detail-oriented mindset.

• Capability to work autonomously in creating sustainable visual systems.

• Expertise in developing foundational brand assets, including scalable logos, unique color schemes, and typography systems.

• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt brand identity across digital platforms, social media, corporate pitch decks, and print materials.

• Excellent organizational skills for creating brand guidelines, style guides, and structured asset libraries.

• A self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot independently.

• A portfolio showcasing branding projects must be included with the CV.

• Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is mandatory.
