Freelance Assessor – Marketing Apprenticeship Standards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluating apprenticeship standards in various marketing positions

• Performing assessments mainly through remote video conferencing

• Reviewing submitted evidence in accordance with a specified assessment plan and grading criteria

• Determining the apprentice’s knowledge and competence

• Offering feedback and validating grading outcomes

• Participating in standardisation meetings twice a year

• Committing to ongoing professional development

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent, pertinent experience in the marketing field – operating at or above the level of the apprenticeship you will be assessing (within the past 3 years, or with significant, proven experience if earlier).

• A relevant marketing qualification that is at least equivalent to the apprenticeship standard (or higher).

• Strong grasp of marketing practices, with the credibility to assess apprentices impartially and consistently.

• Highly organized

• Dependable and trustworthy

• Capable of planning your own schedule and adhering to agreed times/bookings

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• Available to participate in two standardisation activities each year

• Experience as an Independent Assessor, coach, or tutor (Desirable)

• Grading experience (Desirable)

• A solid understanding of apprenticeship standards (Desirable)

• Prevent and safeguarding training (Desirable)

• Assessor/IQA qualifications (e.g. CAVA, TAQA, Award in Undertaking EPA, A1) (Desirable)
